• Update On How Much Money WWE Is Expected To Lose Due To WrestleMania 36 Taking Place At The Performance Center

The biggest news in the world of Professional Wrestling this week is that WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 36, will take place at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida instead of Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida because of the coronavirus outbreak.

According to Wrestlenomics, WWE is going to lose at least $20 million because of this major change:

“WWE probably saves costs on lighter production and maybe they get venue lease money back. Mania in the stadium would’ve drawn gate of ~$15mm. Probably $4mm total for the 4 arena shows. $3mm in venue merch. They have hope to keep Network subs up in Q2 by going on with it.”
